Girls that don't get their first choice usually do one of two things. Quit or stick with it. Quit only if you are sure that you're fine with not being Greek. The people above are telling the truth that freshmen are preferred and next year you will be less attractive to your first choice. So you probably won't get a house at all. Sticking with it is the way to go. Accept the bid. Wipe the tears from your face, run to your sisters and hug the girls who recruited you. They are the ONLY house that wanted you enough to give you a bid. That's the truth. So love them back. Get to know your sisters. Go to football games with your new member class. Call someone to study together. Ask an older member that you admire to get coffee and talk. Run for office in your new member class. Ask what you can do to get more involved on campus. The more involved you are with your sorority, the more you will love it. But you'll never have that kind of sisterhood if you take the first option and quit.
