With as many girls as are going through recruitment, you need to realize that a bid to any house is going to be a valuable thing. Not everyone will get one. In the past there have been girls who have dropped out of recruitment because they were dropped by the top houses. They're afraid that if they take a middle or lower house they will commit social suicide. Three years ago, I considered that. Friends in my recruitment group persuaded me to continue. I joined a lower house and I'm so glad I did. All the houses here get along and all do events together. So it doesn't matter which house you're in. No one looks down on anyone for their letters. And this year especially, with as many quality girls are as going through recruitment, every house will have amazing classes. Besides all the fun of greek life, the sisterhood of being in any house is so amazing that I can't describe it. I have found life-long friends who will always be there to laugh with me and to cry with me. So think hard before you decide that you're too good for any house. If a house wants you that means that they can see you being their sister. I truly believe that after this recruitment there will be no "lower" houses --- all of them will be excellent and all of the will be filled with amazing women!
