sororities care about all of these things: Kindness Intelligence Sociable Easy to get along with and really pretty--it'd be a lie to say no one cares about looks (whether we consciously know it or not, people are naturally gravitated toward a good looking person). Its sad, and unfortunate, but the truth. I think people should focus more on inner beauty, but its not always the case.
