My big dropped this semester and I don’t know about the finance stuff. It’s pretty discrete just talk to your memebership chair. Some I don’t know if all don’t allow you to wear any clothing or letters after that but just give it to a friend or another girl. It sounds like you recently joined though so if you’re like a COB girl I highly encourage you to stick it out through the semester and go to more because you will meet friends. I felt exactly like you did but I had a great friend group formed by the end of the semester. Be outgoing. Also getting a big is super involved and fun! If you were the 24 class, I understand, but do know I met my best friends through recruitment and most girls I know really started to bond in their chapter through work week and recruitment. Just a thought.
