Absolutely rush freshman year as Blinn team. The recruitment chairs will not count it as an automatic strike against you, especially if your grades and SAT scores are higher than full A&M girls. If they feel like you'll definitely be full A&M next year then they will pledge you because (top/good) sororities want to get rid of sophomore quota and taking Blinn Team girls now will help them do that in the long run.
