The computer program is designed to help every house make quota so our Panhellenic system is strong. It uses historical return rates (% of PNM’s who want to come back the next round) to tell the chapters how many PNM’s they can invite back each round. A chapter that is super popular might have to release 800 PNM’s after open house because historically 98% of PNM’s rank that house high, while another chapter might only be allowed to release 100 PNM’s because historically 50% of PNM’s rank the chapter high. There are still big cuts before Pref for most houses because everyone invited to Pref must be on that chapter’s Bid List somewhere. Every girl at Pref could end up a sister so chapters REALLY spend time on the Pref invitation lists.
