The Houston Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma is helping the EP chapter at Texas A&M do a RIF project in Navasota. This will be the first time that our two groups have worked together on a Kappa project. Plans are being made for either the first or second Saturday in February from 10 ? 1. Young women from the chapter have been going up several afternoons a week for the last 1 ? years, helping the 25 children at the Nehemiah Center with their homework and becoming their special friends. The Center is an after school non-profit organization that helps, mainly at risk, children with their homework and encourages them to reach their potential in life. This group was started last year under the guidance of the Nehemiah Center of Houston, which has been a recipient of the Kappa Pilgrimage Funds several times. The RIF project will be for the children of the Nehemiah program , while their parents are attending a workshop given by the Center. The Aggie Kappas are planning on giving
