If you are a girl you should do both. If you are a guy, choose on.....sororities are way more impressive/ difficult to get in etc than fraternities. I don't think a FLO should replace a sorority for a girl but for a guy.....maybe. Many fraternity guys just aren't that great honestly. They drink a lot, party hard, and make low grades pledge semester. If that all sounds good for you then do a fraternity. The top few FLOs have really great guys and girls in them though. I understand why fraternities look down on them, but honestly the fraternities just aren't that great compared to most schools so they have no room to talk.
