I think people are talking about two different things on this thread: 1. Sororities extending bids in the spring semester. 2. Sororities having actual recruitment events in the spring semester. Just because some houses don't have recruitment events does not mean that they aren't giving out a bid or three on the DL. Almost every chapter - even those considered top of the top tier- will extend informal bids outside of formal fall recruitment for all the reasons mentioned above - members graduate early, transfer, or resign.
