Bid day came and my roommate and my other friends were sweating it out. I was lucky I was a legacy so I was just ready to get there. I get my envelope and wait till we could open it. When I did I could not believe my eyes. I was invited to join... wait for it... bottom tier house. The tears came I ran over to my mom and cried and cried and cried. After all Greek rank people told me this would ruin my college years and I would be worthless. My mom hugged me and told me I had 2 choices. refuse the bid and try next year or go to the house meet the girls and give it a try. She said I never knew what could happen and that if I did not give this house a chance I would regret it. I went over to where the girls were and had my picture taken and got on the bus. Luckily there were 4 other girls I had met and really liked also there so I thought safety in numbers. We get to the house and everyone seemed happy, taking pic's, dancing to the band and having fun.
