As someone who came from a school where almost NO ONE rushes... Almost everyone in the top houses knew someone coming in. I am sure that there are girls who went DDD or KKG without knowing a single person, but don't lie and say that 90% of girls aren't coming from the same high schools as most all of the girls already in the sorority. To get into those sororities, you need connections or to have gone to a private school where literally every girl rushes. I get that this happens partially just because girls want their younger friends to join the same sorority as them, but man, let's be honest that recruitment is a whole lot harder when you are coming in without knowing anyone.
