Blinn Team is very stigmatized, for better or worse. Sure, top 10% lets in a lot of people not ready for college, but those kinds of people aren't the kinds going through rush. The girls going through rush usually come from good schools too, and their grades will be higher than yours. Give it a shot though, but manage your expectations unless you feel as if you can wait until sophomore year. A&M actually takes a lot of sophomores, even the top tier sororities.
