I don't think any sorority here would actually fine you for looking sloppy in your letters, but there is an expectation to look decent in your letters. If you have your hair in a messy bun because you had to pull an all-nighter or you went out the night before, at least have the sense to wash off last night's makeup even if you don't apply a fresh coat that morning. No one expects you to look like an instagram model on a day-to-day basis, but at least keep yourself looking presentable to your professors and peers. You're representing something larger than yourself.
