every group has a different opinion of what makes a "top" girl....so if you think your group got the "top" girls, then you probably did based on your groups opinion, other groups have different opinions...that is the nature of the beast called recruitment...I've been around a few years, girls that so called top tier groups recruited and pledged from my school were no where near what I thought was top, my group didn't want them, but in the end, hopefully everyone ended up in a group that made them happy. Stop saying your group is "top tier" and others are "middle" or "bottom" it makes you look stupid. Be happy and leave everyone else alone. I am so grateful that I ended up where I ended up, I love my sorority and I love my sisters. If everyone feels the same way, then leave the other groups alone and if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything!
