Yes. Definitely. Walk into a house full of strangers and be rude to them because that's what recruitment is all about! Obviously, if you're the type of insecure person who is so scared you won't get the house you want that you will act mean or uninterested to a house, then you don't deserve to be Greek at all. And it's very rare that a sorority can cut you after pref anyway. They can only put you higher or lower on their bid list. And if your top sorority meets quota before they get to you, you automatically drop to your second choice and so on. If you REALLY don't want to be in a sorority so much that you would rather just not be Greek at all, then suicide and don't list all three. Because if you do actually get that sorority that you didn't want, you're gonna be stuck with girls who know you don't want to be there, and it'll make the situation worse for everyone involved. PHC tells you to keep an open mind for a reason. There are enough girls in sororities so say that there's a really good chance you'll find someone you click with in each house, even if you don't meet them this week. But the decision is yours. If you roll up to a house on bid day, and you don't want to be there, it's because YOU decided that you'd rather be there than not Greek at all. So try and see each house for its potential, because going greek truly is worth it, no matter where you are.
