I have a different opinion as an “out of state” junior who is looking for internships. When I leave Louisiana, I have a different kind of network and different interactions/experiences because of my sorority. It may be mid/low here but it’s more respected at home. I’m not saying it makes a massive difference because it seriously doesn’t matter to anyone out of the university circle (current undergrads, very recent post-grads and like other interns etc. even cares at all) but there is a little bit more attention paid to certain bigger sororities that are well known outside of strictly sorority and college world. That’s probably different for people who are from here and plan to stay here, or even people who go elsewhere, but that’s my individual experience.
