Oh trust me, I know it’s not all about social events. I wanted to be there in the beginning, then found out that it all sucked. I joined several committees in my first two years, and it never helped me make friends. It’s also harder to get involved when you’re in a difficult major and education is your priority. All the time you have to put into the sorority adds up, but exec doesn’t care bc they have no idea what it’s like (as I said they have the easiest majors). @Everybody agrees: Popularity and ranks weren’t important to me when I was rushing. Neither was “hanging with the hottest guys.” I just wanted to be in a sorority with nice, welcoming girls, but obviously I didn’t get that. And I’m not in one of the top three
