LSU Sororities 2021 I haven’t seen any updated rankings for LSU’s sororities in years. Times have changed A LOT and I think you would be surprised as to what is the current LSU sorority rankings and stereotypes of each house. Rankings Top Tier- 1. Chi O 2. KD 3. Phi Mu (I know the Tri Delta’s are not going to like this one, but it’s true their pledge classes are going significantly down every year and Phi Mu’s overall grades and return rates are better than theirs now). Top Mid- 4. Tri Delta 5. Kappa 6. Alpha Phi Middle- 7. DZ 8. Pi Phi 9. DG Lower- 11. ADPI 11. Zeta 12. Theta Stereotypes- Top Tier- Chi O’s are the smart girls, classy girls. Some of them are very religious. However, all of the Chi O’s are very nice and not as stuck up as most of the top houses. I will say Chi O’s can be clicky within their own sorority and I’ve heard some of the Chi Os complaining it’s hard to fit in. But they have stayed a top house for a long time, so obviously their sisterhood is strong. KD’s are the wealthy, classy girls. They are also hard workers and care a lot about their grades and campus involvement. KD’s are clicker than Chi Os and can be a bit more stuck up. They do have a strong sisterhood as well, but the girls really don’t branch far out of their sororities. Phi Mu’s are the nice, classy girls. Like the other top houses these girls have worked hard on keeping their grades up. Also, the pledge classes have been getting better and better every year making their return rates, so good this year. Almost every Phi Mu is very nice and conflict free. Top Middle- Tri Delta has been going down for some years. I think this is mainly to do with the fact that they don’t really have any thing significant about them to make them stand out anymore. However, they have been established at LSU for a long time and history always plays a part with recruiting more girls. Although, they now seem to have an odd mix of personalities and girls because of the legacy inbreeding . But Tri Delta has an amazing philanthropy and continues to strive in that category. They do have a higher GPA than most of the sororities, but they definitely aren’t known as the “smart” sorority. I think back in the day they’re reputation was more known as the pretty classy girls, but they don’t have the best looking girls anymore. Kappa is the most chill and fun sorority. If you want Greek life purely for the social aspect of it go Kappa. They also got that massive house which brings more girls in during recruitment. However, this can also be a negative for them because now they have the most expensive dues on the row. All of the kappas seem to be having a genuinely good time with their sorority. If kappa brings their GPA up and dues down they will easily surpass Tri Delta. Alpha phi is a newer sorority. However, they are climbing their way up fast. They have the reputation of being the hottest and the fraternities seem to love them. Although, I do think they pick their girls more off of looks than personality and this can lead to an odd mix for sisterhood. They’re also known for being on the wild side and huge parties. Their GPA is on the lower side, but it’s increasing as the years go on. Also think if they bring up their GPA and become more established they will surpass to top tier. DZ is one of the more established sororities. However, they haven’t done much with the time being here to climb up tiers. Most of the DZ’s are pageants girls, so obvious
