I came in to rush with truly an open mind (not from br or New Orleans). ALL 12 sororities were very welcoming and had beautiful girls. My final 6 we’re chi o kd Tri Delt dz Phi Mu and alpha phi. I agree with #2 on her pi phi assessment spot on...very nice but all over the place! Chi O: kept hearing they were top but very forced awkward conversations. Improved though as rounds progressed. Surprise: Tri Delt...had heard some comments as being mean girls but honestly were super sweet and had an excellent philanthropy round. KD: beautiful house and foyer, agree with #2 very spirited! Phi Mu: sweet and all rounds were enjoyable. Kappa Dz theta zta adpi aphi pi phi dg: all nice just no connection. Zta cute bid day!! With all this being said...it’s hard to explain but whether a pnm or for that matter a current member wants to admit it or not, the top tier sororities are easy to “label.” It’s their intangible reputation that you “feel.” In layman’s terms...they totally have their sh— together! For me personally and many of the other nm I’ve spoken with, they are in no particular order Chi O Tri Delt and kd. It doesn’t mean they’re the “best” but that they have an “it” factor that sets them apart from the other sororities. I think I can speak for the majority of pnm in that we truly appreciated all the hard work that went in to rush!! Thank you!
