The alcohol policies are already very strict. Sorority houses aren't allowed to have a drop of alcohol in them, in fraternity houses members of age are allowed to keep alcohol in their bedrooms, at parties there has to be 3rd party vendors that only serve small portions of beer and wine and 3rd party security must be hired, etc. it depends on the person if they choose to break any of the rules. Other groups/geeds at LSU drink just as much, if not more than Greeks. They have just as many cases of alcohol poisonings, but people don't pay attention because the only ones who have a magnifying glass on their actions are Greeks. Tragic events like this don't happen all the time here within the Greek community like people think, so there is no "getting them under control" like you think. The fact that you're even bringing up these things shows just how insensitive you are over what happened. The entire Greek community is grieving over this loss and this is something we never want or expect to happen. Please show some respect and stop throwing accusations wildly over something you know nothing about.
