First I would talk to your bid day buddy to ask them about their experience. Bid day is probably the most awkward day of the year, so it's normal to feel like you don't fit in when in reality, you don't know anyone!! If that doesn't work, talk to the president and recruitment chair. Maybe they can help!! Give it a few weeks and if you hate it then drop Why didn't you feel comfortable there?
