Please do what is best for you and forget the system. I may sound cynical but only you can do what is best for you! Forget the sororities. Many girls drop out or leave LSU in the first couple of years. Sometimes the groups are not a good fit, the cost is too great or they make friends outside the system. You will be fine with whatever decision you make. Here's a true story the Homecoming Queen of a Major Catholic Boys School, dropped her pledge the day after bid day she had been picked by a top tier group. She went on and never looked back.
