middle tier and Alpha Phi

I am really happy that Alpha Phi is doing well, we need many more groups at LSU, but why are they ranked above many other great groups that have been on campus for decades? Alpha Phi is second from the bottom in grades and third from the bottom in size based on the fall grades. Just because they have a great new house built by LSU (all the other houses were financed and paid for by the chapters back in the 1960s and have been financed and kept up by the chapters for 50 years, this is a big financial obligation) that does not make them middle tier. Grades and numbers do count for something. Until their gpa is over 3.0 I would not consider them middle tier.
