Poster Name:Recruitment GPA Truth
Subject:
sorority recruitment and gpa

Poster Message:
Hello PNMs! With recruitment registration starting today, I wanted to give you all a little advice. There seems to be at least one person trolling this site and encouraging PNMs to lie about their GPAs. I'm not sure what that person's motives might be. Maybe they're a PNM trying to eliminate some competition for the top chapters that also have the hardest GPA requirements or maybe they're just a cruel human being. Whatever the case, please disregard this person and be truthful with your GPA. 1. TCU provides the sororities with all official GPAs for confirmation. If you are an incoming freshman, that's your high school GPA. If you're a transfer, that's your GPA from your previous college. If you're a TCU student already, that's your TCU GPA. This is what happens. There is no avoiding it. 2. At best, your GPA will be corrected and your true GPA will be used in membership selection decisions. If it's too low for that chapter, you will be cut. So you'd be cut whether you lied or not. 3. At worst, sororities will cut you for being a liar even if your real GPA was high enough. So you can be unnecessarily cut from those houses because you appear to be dishonest. You should also know that sorority sisters have lots of friends in other sororities. We talk to each other during recruitment. You don't want to be that lying girl everyone knows about. Will you trust the person who's telling you to do something dishonest like fake your GPA or the people trying to help you?
