What a horrible way to respond to a legimate question!! Letters of REC are form letters written on your behalf members (usually alumni) for a group. If you have family members which belong to a soroity they can explain more. You can also contact your local alumni association for each soroity and they can help you find women to write these for you using your high school resume. You can also put word out on your parents Facebook or place of work. You will be surprised how eager most women are to help because they like you help their soroity grow. Try to get 2 for each house. They help introduce you to members before recruitment starts and are very important. I hope this helps and please overlook the troll above! Welcome to TCU!!!
