For rule of thumb, I tend to follow finger tip length on dress length when standing. But remember you will also sit down once in the house so make sure you feel as confident in your dress sitting as you are standing! Pref round is probably the most stressful rounds for girls so if you end up not feeling 100% on this dress, I would look for another. You will have enough going on that you don't want to be worrying about dress length!
