I rushed a couple years ago and when I went into recruitment, a girl from TCU who was in a sorority (and graduated 3 years prior) had sent me her personal opinions on each house on campus. So I had gotten "stereotypes" and preconceived notions about each house before I even step foot into a house or met any of the girls. Honestly, when I went into each house and talked to the girls, I was able to sort out where I fit best. Obviously the stereotypes I had heard were in the back of my head but they never ended up being a deciding factor. I kept one house up until pref just because of their reputation, and although I had heard good things, I knew I wasn't a fit there and ended up cutting them. You WILL know which house you belong in when you go through rush. You will get a feeling of belonging and go with your gut feeling. Don't stress about it and stop reading negatives things on this website!
