take notes boys, if you are wondering about hazing and pledgeship at Tcu Kappa sig: very solid fraternity, but one of the toughest pledgeships on campus. Great option for those looking for a more classic southern fraternity experience, but be warned, pledgeship will not be easy. Pledgeship is likely similar to what you'd find at an off the rails Alabama house. SAE: unfortunately not what they once were 10 years ago or so. No longer a good fraternity, most would put them somewhere in the lower mid tier with Fiji. Pledgeship is very intense. Them and phi Delt have the worst hazing on campus Phi Delt: struggling similar to SAE, was at the top about ten years ago but has fallen hard since then. Has some great guys but most likely the worst pledgeship on campus. Very wealthy fraternity with decent events. They can rise again if they make good connections with sororities Lambda: used to be top about 3-5 years ago but has fallen due to troubles in the fraternity. Constant issues with hazing make it hard for them to have events and be in good standing with the school. This has unfortunately made it hard for them to recruit. Could very well come back to upper mid if they manage to stay out of trouble. Pledgeship Is generally thought to involve lots of intense drinking. Likely fourth hardest pledgeship on campus after the three above sig ep: pledgeship is more mental than physical (like the ones above). Overall, pledgeship is not THAT bad, but it is the longest on campus with them initiating generally in April Beta: the most academic fraternity at TCU. Pledgeship is unique... Involves lots of academic work. Pledgeship either involves zero hazing or is somehow the best kept secret at TCU lol. the rest of the pledgeships fall somewhere in between lambda and beta
