I mean if you're wanting an actual legacy post college and are planning on being in texas then it could be argued that the southern top three are the top houses for their alumni base and reputation off campus. Also they still have a super strong presence on campus. Obviously if you're from out of state, especially the west coast, you're going to say that the predominantly west coast houses are the best. They're good but so are the southern houses. It's just a different vibe.
