I rushed two years ago and was nervous just like you! Honestly, rush is a great experience for some and the opposite for others. It can be wonderful and brutal. My advice-relax, have fun with it and be open to every house. Quota is based on the amount of girls going through rush. 1300 girls is a huge number but with that many PNM’s, quota should be higher. A lot of girls drop out of rush if they aren’t invited back to their top houses and yes, in the end, not everyone gets a bid. Two girls on my floor didn’t and I felt awful for them. Our floor was very close and these two became honorary members of more than one house that year. We made sure they were invited to parties and felt included. I wish I could give you a hug. Just know, I may be in one of the houses you are rushing this week and cheering you on! Relax, try not to stress and show the world the confident woman you are! You’ve got this.
