Hi there! I’m a PNM and I’m so excited to rush!! I don’t know if this website is used for questions and advice but if it’s possible I do have a question! For R2, I don’t have any events today and I only got invited back to 4 houses when I could’ve been invited back to 9. R1 is based off of our slides and is about why we want to join, our resume, our transcripts, and our photos. I know this is kinda odd to ask and very out there, but my GPA is 4.0 on a 4.0 scale with multiple honors and AP courses and my resume has a number of leadership positions and service and such, so does that just mean I’m not pretty enough to get a bid? I understand if so because I know I’m not the prettiest and I can’t afford the nicest clothes. It just hurts cause a bit because I feel like this is so up my alley and I would love to be in a sorority, but I feel very scared not that I’m not pretty enough or something. I just feel so lost and like i’m doing something wrong. Is it normal to get invited back to so few? Do I even stand a chance at getting a bid at all?? Anyways, maybe I’m overthinking it. Thank you in advance for any advice or thoughts! I appreciate it a lot :)
