When I went through, there was a PNM who received a bid from a sorority she did not want. She dropped and re-rushed the following year and was given a bid by a different house, though it still wasn't a top house like she had hoped. I will say this... In my house, we knew she was not selected the first go-round and were aware that she was going through rush a second time. If there wasn't a bid extended the first time, why would there be a sudden change? I'm saying this to let you know, that just because you try again- it doesn't mean you will get the house you have your sights on. Sororities (well, the good ones) are only allotted a certain number of sophomores. Keep that in mind and try to find sisters in your sorority that you bond with. Freshman year is so fun and to miss that and experience that as a sophomore- it's not the same. Totally my opinion. Xo Best of luck
