It's because there's lots on construction and they don't want anyone hurt. Wear your comfy closed toe shoes between houses and change before you go in. Everyone else will be doing it. It's no big deal. If you have trouble following a simple rule designed to protect you, then sorority life isn't for you. We have rules. Lots and lots of rules. If you can't deal with that then you'll be better off a GDI.
