Wait until you get here and meet them. It's fine to get people's opinions here, but you'll only know once you meet the members. And don't tell your mom anything - it sounds hurtful to say "I might not be a Gamma Phi" - most moms want their daughters to be happy wherever that may be, so no need to say anything before you even step foot on campus and meet its members. And one more point: just because you're a legacy doesn't mean Gamma Phi will pledge you - it's not an automatic thing. All sororities cut legacies during recruitment. Keep an open mind.
