DO NOT try to hide legacy info, because we will find out. But what you can do, is let us know straight out that you are a legacy, but during parties, emphasize that you are "open minded" and welcome to the idea of joining one of your non-legacy houses. Those houses might have dropped you because they assumed you were going to your legacy because you didn't say anything. But if you said to them something like "yeah, I went to my legacy house, but I'm not really set on them and I'm really interested in what other houses have to offer and if they fit me better" then you MAY have made it through to the next round.
