Senior is right. Some girls will decide that they are only interested in certain houses. When they are cut by those houses they decide to quit, even though there may still be other groups on the invite list. This is not getting cut from recruitment. This is quitting. Huge difference, but that is not how you will hear them say it. This explains the stat that you hear that 1000 PNMs started recruitment but only 800 (or whatever) got a bid. There may have been less than 10 who were cut and alllllll the rest quit. There is no harm in finishing recruitment. These girls that quit often really regret it, especially on Bid Day and during the first few months of school when so many around them are having fun and loving their sororities. All PNMs should finish recruitment, as you will likely find a house from the remaining list that you do love. You do not have to sign a bid card (meaning you would accept a bid from a group) after Pref round if you really don't won't to. However, quitting after 2nd or 3rd round gets you nothing.
