I would say that yes the next few rounds are when majority of cuts happen. This is because it gets more and more competitive as the rounds go on. I would try to become close with your rush group leaders because that is their job to help you. I personally had an awful experience with my four last year (didn't know anyones names, didn't care to get to know you etc..) but then plenty of my friends had amazing experiences with theirs! I think its really important to keep an open mind but also don't get your hopes up. That happened to me last year and I was quite crushed. Just because chapters ask you back the day before pref round doesn't necessarily mean you are going to get asked back again. At first I was skeptical about the house I was in but honestly it is now the best decision I have ever made. xo
