It honestly depends on the sorority. Some houses are picky in early rounds because they don't want to "waste anyone's time" if they know they ultimately won't want to extend a bid, but then in later rounds make softer cuts. Others don't really cut anyone in rounds 1 or 2 unless they seem nuts because they know how hectic those rounds are and don't feel it's fair to judge girls too harshly based on it. The cuts between rounds 3 and 4 for most houses are typically the worst ones because no one wants to bring someone in to pref because that's basically saying that they would potentially want them in the house and those girls will wind up somewhere on the bid lists. Try not to stress. Focus on class, relax, watch Netflix, and just trust the system. This really does work for the majority of girls despite hurt feelings during rush. If you maximize your options and give each house a chance the chances of you being happy are pretty high.
