I understand how you feel. I ended up in my top choice, but when I rushed, I was a legacy to two of “top houses” through my grandmothers. Both houses cut me super early. I didn’t feel too bad since there were other houses I liked better, but for super competitive houses, legacy doesn’t really matter unless a close relative is a current member.
