Honestly it’s much less of an impact than you would think so don’t let posts on here scare you. If you fit in a house you’re probably gonna get in there anyways. Being a sophomore is only a slight disadvantage because if a house likes you and a freshman equally they’ll probably pick the freshman over you just because of the extra year they’ll be in the house It’s a little isolating too because like 90% of your rush group will be freshman, but I would say take full advantage and still try to be friends with them. Also things like getting a big can be awkward but that’s down the line and not as big of a deal as you would think
