1. Were you dropped because of grades? If so, academic cutoffs are still in place for COB. You might be better off to get your grades up and try again next year. 2. Being dropped for something other than grades after Round 1 isn't the best sign. It means that the sisters who met you didn't see as much of a fit as you did--not saying that to be mean or insensitive, but look at the situation objectively. Yes, it's totally possible something went haywire in the matching process but odds are slim there. 3. The houses you have left see you in their chapter--focus on that. If I were you, I would would give it a chance at least through the next round. 4. There is no guarantee the house you are talking about will do COB. It changes every year based on what quota is, if chapters meet quota and then if their nationals require the house to be at maximum chapter membership (not dictated by SU). If they had a lot of graduating seniors or quota this year is smaller than average, that's why some chapters have to do COB--not just how 'well' they did through formal recruitment. Good luck to you!
