PNM's, I hope you had an amazing first weekend of recruitment! It was probably exciting, overwhelming, exhausting and nerve-wracking all at once--all of that is very normal. Some advice as you go through this week and info next weekend: 1. If you are on Greek Rank, PLEASE take everything you say with a huge grain of salt. Greek life is NOT this dramatic IRL and none of these alleged ranks matter. The fighting isn't real either--it's often trolls posting issues about this house versus that. 2. Stay true to yourself and trust your gut! It's not a popularity contest, it's about finding the chapter that's the best fit for YOU--where you can grow, lead and be comfortable while surrounded by true friends. 3. The next round has bigger cuts. You might be disappointed. That's OK--remember, you're in the majority! Almost everyone gets dropped from at least one house! Let yourself feel upset for a few minutes, then redirect yourself to your remaining houses. They invited you back! They see something in you! Let the 'what if's' go and get laser focused on your remaining list going into Round 3. EVERY CHAPTER at SU is amazing and has something to offer! We are way, way more alike than different! Go Greek!
