You should add that having 1 top house left at house tours doesn’t mean you should pref them automatically because they’re top, pref the 2 houses you actually want. I saw too many girls do this freshman year, end up taking a bid from a “top” house they kept around on their schedule ONLY because they have a “top house” reputation, and not because they actually liked them. One semester in, you realize you have nothing in common with the girls in your sorority and you probably shouldn’t have joined only because “well they party with phi psi and dke?!” Yea no. my best friend had the hardest time with this but eventually ranked Theta over Kappa at pref round 3 years ago and she couldn’t be happier where she is now.
