for girls going through formal recruitment next semester: please try and stay off this site. yes, there are stereotypes/labels/ranks associated with most of the chapters here on campus, but none of that matters when you're rushing. go into recruitment looking for the best fit FOR YOU. every house parties, every house has mixers with frats, every house has several social activities. that shouldn't be your main concern. if it is, revaluate why you're rushing. look for the girls who make you feel comfortable and have good/in depth conversations with you. you'll feel it and you'll know which house is right for you. and it's ok if it's a "top house" and it's just as cool if it's a "bottom tier house". no matter where you end up, you will talk to guys/have a social life/whatever so choose the house where you feel you'll be most loved and appreciated and supported. good luck and have fun :)
