Hi! I know it can be super tough to get to know people through the screen but I think you definitely have an advantage having gone through it before! Remember to be yourself and try to talk about things that will make you stand out from others (involvement on campus, aspirations, and experiences that maybe not everyone has) but don’t try to be someone you’re not. You want to seem genuine, kind, and fun. After all, every house is just looking for people they’d want to be friends with!! While I don’t think recruitment is or should be about physical appearance, you definitely have an opportunity to show a bit of your personality through your outfit and accessories so feel free to go out of your comfort zone and wear things that represent your personal style! On another note, due to virtual recruitment, fewer people are signing up for recruitment which means the chances of more people ending up in the houses they like is higher! Go in with a positive attitude and remember that the houses know themselves better than you know them so try not to take it personally if they don’t think you’re a good fit!
