<strong>Subject:</strong><br />rankings and descriptions from non-greek life<br /><br /> Poster Message:
As someone who's not in greek life but has a lot of friends who are, I know my opinion doesn't matter much on this site but I thought it would be interesting to hear an outsiders perspective on the "rankings" (which don't really matter much to people outside GL) and overall descriptions for potential new members to see. I don't mean any offense to anyone and I just wanted to share an outsider perspective in a positive way because there seems to be a lot of negativity on this site. top: kappa, DG, Aphi Kappa is not your typical sorority girl, definitely diverse which I respect, and overall seem like cool & chill girls to be around with unique style. Aphi is definitely your stereotypical blonde sorority, kind of mean girl vibes. DG is cute popular girls who are overall super nice but remain exclusive. mid-top: phi sig, tri-delt both from what I know are big partiers. tri-delt has a somewhat bad reputation due to hazing rumors and racism-related scandals, but the girls I know of in their most recent PC are not at all "controversial" so I think they're trying to get rid of their negative history. I don't know much about phi-sig but I would say they are somewhat diverse. mid: Gphi, AXO, and Axid Love every gphi and AXO girl I've ever met. I know AXO has some issues with drama in their house but that's expected in any sorority, I respect their inclusivity and their philanthropy is cool. Gphi girls are really motivated and smart, Axid girls are sweet but I dont know much else about them. mid-low: SDT and Theta Theta has a reputation for being smart and a lot of the girls in the house are really involved in activism, and I don't know a lot about SDT but I have nothing negative to say about them or any of the girls I know in the house. low: Dphie, Aephi and AGD AGD is known for a lot of disturbing scandals, and I don't know much about Aephi other than that they are very friendly. I dont know anyone in Dphie.
