In the south, sororities lean HEAVILY on rec letters. Here, not so much. If you are a legacy, definitely have one written in so they're on the look out for you. Or if you have a good family friend, have them send one. But you do NOT have to go hunting for a rec from each house. It's not like that at all. Rec letters just help houses look out for certain girls and give them a more careful eye, they don't guarantee a bid in the slightest.
