Fraternities: As for location, it doesn't really matter, most fraternities are pretty close to the union besides houses like DU and maybe SAE. Beta, ATO, and FIJI are closest to downtown so going to restaurants or the bars is faster. As far as aesthetic quality and the "niceness" of a house goes, Beta by far has the nicest house on campus. Some houses on the inside are really dirty, while others are taken care of better. Sororities: Alpha Phi, Theta, AOPi, and Gamma Phi are very close to the union so they have a good location. Basically, every sorority on 16th street is a prime location due to being really close to the union. For the looks of sorority houses, I would say that Kappa and A Phi have the best looking houses. Chi O looks kinda cool, and there are many other houses that are big. Typically, sororities on the inside are more well kept and clean than fraternities
