This is bad advice and inaccurate. You will likely be cut from all but 2-3 houses after first round due to your low GPA. GPA cuts really only happen after first round because houses have to get their numbers down dramatically. Once you survive first round with house and get invited to second round, your GPA will not be a factor and everything will.
