I was doing some research into the "governing board" of the sororities, The Panhellenic Council and I noticed something odd: 1) Is there a reason there isn't someone from every house on there? There are only 9 spots and I know there are a ton more houses than 9 on campus. Does it make you a "better" or "worse" house if you have someone on the council? 2) How come I can't figure out what chapter they are a part of? I mean I could on one or two of them pretty easily but most of them don't have social media. Is there a website that would tell me which houses they belong to? Or do they not actually all belong to houses? Is it like 2 ppl greek and then others aren't? To balance things? I just think it would be really cool to be a part of the sorority student government kind of because I did StuCo in high school. I just want to know if some houses can't be apart of it or if some are always a part of it? I know I have to get into a sorority first before I can do any of this, but I just thought it was weird they didn't say what house they were in, if they were in a house or if all houses can be a part of the Council. Sorry for the weird questions. I am just trying to figure out how the system works and how recruitment works Thanks in advance for your responses.
